More details
Ref. 1617687
Set in the heart of Chianti, at only 18 km from Florence and 6 from the renowned Golf Club Ugolino, this little hamlet consists of a charming period manor house dating back to 1500, a chapel, two independent farmhouses and a panoramic pool plus a two-story annex to be restored and a bar. A property that offers the warmth and relaxing feel typical of the Tuscan countryside lined with row upon row of vineyards and with an olive trees.
Immersed in lush vegetation, far from the noise and traffic of main roads, this estate comprises of a main villa developed over two floors, in perfect conditions, with architectural details in pietra serena, a blue-grey sandstone used extensively in Renaissance Florence, a big kitchen with pantry and a big dining and living room with fireplaces. Next to the main residence, in the same building, two independent flats, both having their own entrance and garden and one with a splendid panoramic terrace.
Below the residential villa, we find exposed stone vaulted rooms dedicated to wine making with all the tools and machinery needed: winepress, stainless steel barrels and oak vats. Next to the wine cellar three big rooms to be restored. Facing the charming back courtyard where to dine al fresco and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding valleys there is even a vinegar cellar completed with its “baby” wooden barrels where balsamic vinegar is produced and stored.
Also to be restored another adjacent annex already divided in two flats, one for each floor; close to it a barn and a small orangery to keep lemon trees during the winter.
There are also two fully restored farmhouses each of them with their own independent garden. The first includes, on the ground floor, a store for farm products produced within the premises, while on the upper floor there is a 55 sqm apartment.
The second farmhouse has a restaurant for 30/40 people with its professional kitchen and on the first floor another independent apartment of about 60 sqm.
The total number of bedrooms is 15 with 10 bathrooms.
A unique property set in about 30 hectares of land.
